Though it made me homesick already, I enjoyed reading such a thorough article about Ciya- my favorite restaurant in Istanbul.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6104067274494549802.post-36843530389314668752014-01-15T07:25:22.030-05:002014-01-15T07:25:22.030-05:00@Annie, I think the chef tries to create many diff...@Annie, I think the chef tries to create many different kinds of dishes in his kitchen. I know many of the old Ottoman meat dishes often were cooked with fruit, so maybe that's where he gets some of inspiration? :-)

@Claudia, I totally agree with you. The food is consistently good and if you choose the traditional dishes, it's amazing! Out of the 3 restaurants, I think I can now say I prefer the one at the end on the right which offers both traditional and also kebabs. That way there is something for everybody. Also there is more space than in the original traditional only.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12220863323015658310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6104067274494549802.post-53215525840848205652014-01-11T04:17:58.536-05:002014-01-11T04:17:58.536-05:00This sounds very unusual.
