Normally, I don't compete in online competitions.
But this time, I've decided to make an exception.
My lil' blog, My Turkish Joys, was nominated (last month) for a 2012 Expat Blog Award. I finally posted the blue button on the left-hand side of this page.
The competition ends tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10:00 GMT, which is 8 a.m. in Istanbul or 5 a.m. on the East Coast in the U.S.
One of the judging criteria is feedback from my readers. I would very much appreciate your comments on the Expat Blog site.

| My husband and I were goofing around when we were at the Tophane-i Amire exhibit recently in Istanbul. I just happened to have this Christmas hat in my purse! Maybe this will be my online Christmas card to friends this year. |
